CBSE Syllabus 2020-21: Big relief to students of CBSE 9th to 12th standard, 30% reduction in syllabus
CBSE syllabus: Good news for students from class 9th to 12th in CBSE schools. The government has reduced the syllabus of CBSE class 9th to 12th by 30%. Union Human Resource Development Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank made this announcement on Tuesday. He tweeted, "CBSE has rationalized syllabus for classes 9 to 12 by 30 percent keeping in mind the educational loss during the Kovid-19 lockdown."
Nishank said that due to loss of students' education due to Kovid-19 infection and lockdown, we had asked CBSE to reduce syllabus from class 9th to 12th.cbse syllabus for class 12 2020 to 2021
In another tweet, Nishank said, 'To help in the decision, a few months ago I also asked for suggestions from all academics for reduction of syllabus with the hash tag # SyllabusForStudents2020. CBSE released revise syllabus notification
Following the announcement of HRD Minister, CBSE has also issued a notification to revise Academic Syllabus 2020-2021 from class 9th to 12th. The notification says that due to Kovid-19 and lockdown, there has been a lot of loss of students' studies. The classroom study has been badly affected. The syllabus from class 9th to 12th has been rationalized keeping in view the situation and keeping the core subjects in the course.
CBSE said that the heads and teachers of all the schools should also ensure that the topics which have been removed from the syllabus, should also be explained and explained to the students when required. However, the removed topics will not be a part of internal assessment and annual board examinations. Questions will not be asked from topics removed in internal assessment and annual board examinations.
Students of class 1st to 8th can follow the alternate calendar issued by NCERT.
