MSBSHSE Maharashtra HSC Result 2020: Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Education (MSBSHE) is likely to declare the state HSC result tomorrow i.e. on Thursday 16 July. According to the official, students can expect their results at 1 pm tomorrow. Candidates who have appeared for this examination can go to the official website mahahsscboard.maharashtra.gov.in, mahresult.nic.in and check their results.
This year, about 15.05 lakh students appeared in the HSC exam in the state. The board examination was conducted before the lockdown ban came into force, while the pending class 10th examination was canceled. The government then announced that marks for the subject of Geography will be awarded on the basis of average marks obtained in five other subjects of the examination. Students can check the result by going to the official website mahahsscboard.maharashtra.gov.in, mahresult.nic.in. On the homepage of the website, students will have to click on their relevant class link and then enter their roll number, mother's name and other details and login. At the end, students have to click on the View Result button after which the results will be displayed on the screen.
To pass both SSC and HSC exams, students are required to score 35 percent in each subject. Once the results are declared, the students who pass the exam will be issued an original marksheet. Students have to collect their marksheet from their respective school. Last year, the pass percentage in the state was recorded at 85.88, with Konkan becoming the best performing district. If we compare the stream wise, 92.60 percent of the students had passed science and 88.22 and 76.40 percent had passed commerce and arts.
